Need a hand?
Email support@nurelio.app and we'll get back to you within two business days. Writing from the app — Settings → Contact support — attaches your app version and user ID automatically, which helps us find your account and your purchases much faster.
Subscriptions & billing
What do I get with Nurelio Pro?
Logging is free — meals by photo, voice, or text, plus your calories, macros, water, weight, and how you feel. Pro adds the parts that need weeks of data behind them: pattern detection, health insights, the AI coach chat, full micronutrients, and advanced analytics.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days free on the annual plan, if you haven't used a Nurelio trial on your Apple ID before. The monthly plan has no trial and is charged when you subscribe. Whichever you pick, the button tells you which one you're getting before you tap it.
When am I charged?
Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before each period ends, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. If you're on the free trial we send you a reminder three days before it ends and again the day before, so the first charge is never a surprise.
How do I cancel?
Cancelling happens in your App Store account, not in Nurelio — Apple doesn't let apps cancel on your behalf. In the app, Settings → Manage subscription takes you straight there. You can also go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge, and you'll keep Pro until the period you've already paid for runs out.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I already paid but Pro isn't showing
Tap Settings → Restore purchases. This is also what to use on a new phone, or after reinstalling. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you subscribed with — subscriptions belong to the Apple ID that bought them.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you were charged by accident, email us as well and we'll tell Apple we support the refund.
Your data
Where is my health data stored?
On your phone, in an encrypted database — not on our servers. Some features need the internet to work, such as identifying a food from a photo or answering a coach question, and those send only what the feature needs and keep nothing afterwards. Our Privacy Policy covers exactly what leaves the device and when.
Can I stop the AI features from seeing my diary?
Yes, and it’s one switch: Settings → Privacy & permissions → AI coach & weekly summary. Off means the coach won’t open and the summary line on your score card doesn’t generate — nothing about your health leaves the phone. Everything else, including your logging and your health score, is calculated on the device and is unaffected.
The first time you open the coach we explain exactly what gets sent and ask before sending anything. Turning it back off later stops both features immediately. Our Privacy Policy lists every field.
How do I back up or move to a new phone?
Because your data lives on your device, it goes with the device. Two things protect you:
- Settings → Backup password. Set this. Without it, a lost or wiped phone means lost data — there's no copy on our side to restore from.
- Settings → Export data writes everything on the device to a file you keep. Settings → Import data restores it on the new phone.
If you connected Apple Health, the metrics shared with it — steps, weight, water, nutrition, sleep, workouts — also live in Apple Health and follow your iCloud backup.
How do I delete my data or my account?
Settings → Delete my data erases everything on the device. If you created an account, Settings → Delete my account removes it along with everything stored on the device. Both are immediate and can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
Can I turn off analytics?
Yes — Settings → Anonymous analytics. It's off until you opt in, and it never includes personal or health data: no names, no email, no calories, weights, foods, or feelings.
Using the app
A food came back wrong
Photo, voice, and text logging are AI estimates, and estimated nutrients are marked with a tilde (~12 mg) to say so. You can edit any amount before or after logging. If a food is consistently wrong, email us the name and we'll look at it.
Apple Health isn't syncing
Check Settings → Apple Health in Nurelio, then iPhone Settings → Apps → Health → Data Access & Devices → Nurelio and confirm the categories you want are enabled. iOS asks for read and write permission separately, so a partial grant looks like a partial sync.
Health disclaimer
Nurelio is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and the patterns it surfaces are patterns, not proof. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet or health.
